    The truth about Tychus Findlay's past is hard to come by. Stories about him are common enough, but distilling fact from fiction is another matter entirely.

H:

  • Matt Horner
    The second son of a minor merchant on Tyrador IX, Matt Horner grew up longing for something more interesting than his boring, safe life.
  • Ariel Hanson
    Doctor Hanson was once an inhabitant of Agria, but was caught up in the war with the zerg. Her main wish is for life to return to normal. She can represent a positive moral influence on Jim Raynor, acting as something of a love interest (albeit limited by Raynor's status as a mercenary) and representing his "good side".
  • Graven Hill
    Graven Hill is a mercenary recruiter aboard the Hyperion and has links with the black market. He spends time in the cantina.

K:

  • Kerrigan
    No single human being has been more inseparably tied to the twisted destinies of the terran, protoss, and zerg races than Sarah Kerrigan. Potent psionic abilities, unmatched courage, sharp tactical instincts, and lethal training in both melee combat and ballistic weaponry led to Kerrigan's quick rise through the ranks of the Confederate ghost program.

M:

  • Arcturus Mengsk
    Arcturus Mengsk has been called a rebel hero, a mass murderer, and nearly everything in between. One word that has never been used to describe him, however, is "ordinary."
  • Valerian Mengsk
    In the right hands, words are powerful tools of change. They can incite revolution. They can introduce bold new ideas that shape the beliefs of future generations. And as Valerian Mengsk learned, words can alter the course of a person's life forever.

R:

  • Jim Raynor
    Jim Raynor was a Confederate marshal on Mar Sara at the time of the first zerg incursions on that world.

S:

  • Rory Swan
    Swann was once a worker for the Kel-Morian Combine, though came to lead a revolt against the organization. The revolt was a failure however, Swann losing his arm in the process. However, he was rescued by Jim Raynor, receiving the position of chief engineer on the Hyperion.
  • Egon Stetmann
    Stedman is a "geeky" scientist in his early twenties. A member of Raynor's Raiders, he spends time in the Hyperion's lab.
  • Selendis
    Selendis is the current protoss executor. She is sometimes referred to as a "high executor". She is one of the two female protoss that have been named so far in the core game series, the other being Raszagal.

T:

  • Gabriel Tosh
    Gabriel Tosh is a mysterious terran, described as "pseudo-Rastafarian". An agent of Raynor's Raiders, he has much knowledge of the Ghost Program.

Z:

  • Zeratul
    Zeratul is a dark templar, a renowned psionic warrior and assassin whose forbears were exiled from the protoss homeworld of Aiur over a thousand years ago.
