I have always played protoss, and the new ultralisk does worry me a bit. If archons aren't a good counter for them anymore then I think it would probably take a combined effort from immortals and dark templar to take them down quickly on the ground. If you have air then obviously void rays + phoenix are probably your best bet.

Archons do seem a bit weak in the current build in comparison to what they were in the original, but overall I think protoss ground still kicks but.

I HAVE a rendezvous with Death At some disputed barricade , It may be he shall take my hand And lead me into his dark land, But I've a rendezvous with Death And I to my pledged word am true, I shall not fail that rendezvous.

i've heard that high templar's psi storm can melt ultralisks pretty quickly.

I was just wondering actually (I know its probably been asked alot or something), did the colossus seem like more of an assult unit, you know show up somewhere mess **** up and then die, or is it still a fail unit that attempts to mess **** up but instead just dies.

i still think thar the best way to kill de ultralisk if you are a terran player is some thors with bc
and for protoss psy storm sounds terrifying and void rays with phoenix totally own ultras

I guess thors would work, fight fire with fire.

But I'd also imagine that banshees >>>>> ultralisks

I actually like the Void Ray/ Phoenix combo better for Ultras

Because I like to fight fire with water.

I was pretty dissappointed to hear HSM deals splash to friendlies...i mean given its speed i was thinking to fly my nighthawk very-close/on-top of the mark and fire but now this is plain suicide...
Gears did u use HSM...what is the chances they hit versus the chances the target micros away successfully?

I wonder how the AI will react to HSM's. Will they make an effort to get away, or will they just take it?

It is a mysteryyyy.
