Team Liquid released a nice write up about the game build at the conference, and other details. One detail being that karune "stated" the game is workable, just that they do not have the infrastructure currently up to support the amount of beta players.

Gear says the event was initially to share some big announcement. This is not a big announcement. Therefore, i am wondering if they will invite him up again, or if they will even share it with us at all, preferring instead to wait for beta? I feel like it might have been a new build or something ("information Blizzard wanted to showcase was not ready"), and that they showed the fansites this as consolation or something...

I too was hoping for a big announcement, but based on what TL wrote up it appears that the conference did not have what we were hoping for. Though, I did like TL's point section on game balance. Not that I loved every word that was typed, but it was brief and orderly.

Wish I could have joined you guys out there tho at least Slasher was out there getting some info for us...
