Since I had the opportunity this week to play the game, pretty extensively, I thought it would be a good idea to do a Q&A batch. All you need to do is ask me any questions regarding SC2's gameplay within this topic. I will pick the top questions and will answer them the best I can. I will post the Q&A batch on Monday or Tuesday.
Only ask questions about the current gameplay build, nothing about beta, battle.net, the campaign, etc, because I do not know anything relating to those. Also dont ask how much HP a unit has, or how much range an ability has, or how much energy an ability takes, because I didn't take notes. |

Here is a good one, I think. Is there infact a drop-off animation? Or is it like SC1?
Edit: I have another. Tell me all about the Thor and BC. How it is built, its animations, etc.

Ok, when you say the Zerg art looks amazing (yay
) can you elaborate on that at all? Are there a lot of new models from what the rest of us have currently seen? How do the buildings blend with the creep and how does the creep "feel"? Slimey, alive, "creep"y? (Sorry, had to do it). Does the queen larvae spawning ability give a feeling of speed to the Zerg?Just some questions off the top of my head! ![]() |

1. How effective is the brood lord?
2. How does the changeling work? Is it only controlled by you, or can the opponent move it around? 3. Since we know nothing about it currently, how does the Nydus Worm mechanic work? |

How much has changed on the graphics of units and structures on the latest built?
Ex. New art design for units and structures. Me and Arangarx pretty much have the same question.

Here's a few question that I can't get out of my head...
-Is there going to be a on-screen capture device such as the one used Battle Report 1, 2 and 3, If not what do you recommend for a video capture device. -Will the Banelings juices change color per team? (blue team blue Baneling juice). -For campagne are there going to be cheats like there were in Starcraft and Brood War? If you can't or decide not to answer some or any of the questions I understand...kinda.. Thanks Gear please post the questions you are going to ask at the end of the week:)

1)Did you get a chance to use the Thor and what is its new ability like. 2)Did you get to use BCs and did Yamato have AoE 3)How did EMP play in the games. 1. How effective did you find the viking and reaper when playing terran?
2. Did you get the chance to use or see Temporal Rift on the High Templar? 3. Did you feel that any unit or ability were too dominant or powerful with proper micro, as in stalker's blink, viking transformation, emp, force field, etc. 4. Was there any change to the current build that surprised or disappointed you? Edit: Since none of the energy cost questions could be answered. |

1. I have a question for you gear. As you have played it "extensively", how do the races seem to balance out? People have been fighting for months over which race is OP or not (although zerg has never been accused of op). And I was wondering how things ACTUALLY boiled down in the end. And what about abilities like the ghost's EMP, which are aimed specifically towards one race (Protoss in this case). Did it feel like ghosts were pointless against Zerg? Save maybe one for throwing down a nuke?
2. Tell us about nukes? Price? Casting range/time on ghost to drop it? Does it wtfpwn everything like in SC? Does it kill guys in bunkers? 3. I understand if you don't answer my questions, but I would prefer it >.> |

Crix, Omega, I already asked him about how balanced it felt, over in the old Press Conference thread. He said that it felt pretty good, the only problem was when mutas, banshees, or *whatever the protoss flyer is*, were massed.

1)Did you get to play as a zerg? 2)What tier is the lurker? 3)How effective are banelings mid and late tier? 4)How do the mutalisk in sc2 feel and play, can you still stack them? 5)How fast is the roachs regeneration, and does it change whil burrowed? 6)Has any zerg unit changed it's tier position? 7)How effective is the broodlords attack and the broodlings he produces? 8)How much is the range of the creep and how fast does it expand? 9)How much does the Overseer Transfusion cost and how much does it heal? 10)Is the nydus worm an affective way off early harrasment ,and how fast can you get it? 11)How much is the area range off the Infestors Plague? 12)How much does the Queens Razor Plague cost and how effective it is? 13)Have there been any changes to the ultralisk, and did you get to play them and test how effective they are? 14)Have there been any changes to the hydra and how much damage does it do and,does it still have anti air armored bonus only, how much does it cost? 15)How does zvz early game look, is is a roach vs roach microbatlle or are there any other options, as the baneling? 16)How effective is the Corruptor as the zerg primary antiair unit compared to other races? Are they better than the old scourge or worse? 17)Has the spore crawler been changed at all (you said that the spine crawler was)in the recent build? 18)How are the players color represented in the current build for the zerg?
