lol @ silent templar's coment, and well 2 or 4 bc's if i was using them i would have 1 with missle pods and one with yamato..if im against the protoss, and against zerg one with def matrix and the other with missle pods... in other words they will be ready for combat, and for their counters.

and you will never send bc's on their own so they will have back up so they will most likely survive unless you focus fire..but thats what def-matirx is for...lets it live a bit longer.

Yay!
But yea, if Blizzard picks the questions, why did they pick Dillinger's question about EMP everyone knew it was back in again?

Excuse me? Call me ignorant, but I actually didn't know EMP was back on the ghost again. Not everyone follows every single Q&A. I've read comments such as yours like "everyone already knew this answer" and using absolute words like "everyone" and "always" will almost always be wrong.

It was kinda annoying in Q&A's 40-45 when questions about the reaper kept coming up over and over, but as long as these questions aren't duplicates of previous Q&A's I'm happy to get ANY answers about the game. Anyway, awesome Q&A. Probably the most detailed of all the Q&A's, but I could be wrong.

Viking seems to be the Wraith's AA capabilities on a Goliath, Blizz still pushing the Terran advantages in its revealings.

So is it a no to hallucinating probes? Would seem to be an effective scouting tactic.

Ha, my Goliath question was picked, funny
Nice, also for the other who got a question answered.

@ Silent.templar, I understand what you say...
I took the liberty of refinding my own set of question I asked, when I saw your comment it made me look at the date.

As we can see our Q&A batch was formed around the 1st of April, it's now May 29th, so it's been 2 months since the batch was sent to Blizz.

But it's still good to see the answers.
I like the knowlegde we got for the Corrupter a lot, seems it doesn't matter which unit is tunred, all turn into thesame turret (in strenth).
It might encourage player vs the Zerg to use smaller aircraft better when dealing with Corrupter as they cost less and the loss won't be so severe.

2) With missile barrage and Yamato cannon, Battlecruisers' can deal with most threats. My question is, how effectively can a Battlecruiser be countered? How well do Hydralisks, Void Rays, and Vikings work vs Missile barrage? - camelmeat
Hydralisks are easily the Zerg's most important ground unit against air, including Battlecruisers. Void rays can be a good Protoss counter for battlecruiser, with focused fire and increasing damage over time on its attack. In fighter mode, the Terran viking does +10 damage against massive units like the battlecruiser.

pardon me for the profanity but this is a really an answer worthy of what terrans call ****.

all they did was restate what we really already know, they did not answer the real problem the battlecruiser can pretty much own anything including its counters, thanks to its multitudinous specialization.

all the terran commander has to do now is to scout the enemy and see if the enemy is building up light troops or heavy hitters, and selectively upgrade his battlecruisers.

if the enemy changes tactics, newly built battlecruisers will simply adapt.

while this is the way the battle works, with constant scouting and adapting, the mere fact that one unit type, not to mention one that has 600 hp and 8(*8) damage, can stand on its own means that there is something terribly wrong.

Don’t worry about it. Battlecruiser is a powerful unit, but the cost is also expensivs as well as the tech.In a normal game, one player can't have many battlecruisers. The cost will limit the number.

Finally!

This is the best set of Q & A I have ever read so far. ......OK maybe I m a bit biased. LOL

Nice to know about the new mechanic of the hallucination. however I still think that the ability should be given back to the HT.

Ouch, there I was talking about Hallucination yesterday and now it's +50 more energy

Hopefully, unit passive abilities carry over to Hallucinations, such as Zealot Charge and Immortal Hardened Shield.

-Psi

Im 100% with this.

I found myself in the same situation actually... Here I've been laboring under the delusion that hallucination costs 50 when in fact it is actually 100!

That is a severe nerf from SC since for the same amount of energy you can only make 1 of a lot of units.

However, it is a great bonus if the units you make have their abilities

(zealot charge, immortal hardened shield (maybe takes 20 damage instead of 10?) Colossus cliff climb, (stalker blink??? since it doesnt require energy...)) since a zealot hallucination isnt as useful if it cant charge... the opponent knows exactly which units are real or not.

And how useful is a colossus if it cant climb a cliff?

@ liraco (i think) when did you hear that phoenix shot faster than a corsiar?? That could be really cool!

ok i have a question, when the corruptor attacks and kills a interceptor the zerg have a turret correct? so if the corruptor kills a carrier do the zerg get 9 turrets (1 carrer and 8 interceptors) or do they only get the carrier, and the interceptors die??
