Wow, so much news in the past week!
This is getting me exciting. I think that the Brood Lord could be improved honestly... |

Yes yes yes the thor has bombardment mode back which is the perfect way to punch into a heavlly defened base and i hope it looks the same way the old thor looked.not sad about mechinecl rebirth the thor would probally be in your enemys base if it died.
rian or snow would be cool on the maps. HT as a shield battery is a lot better the the shield battery of sc1. I liked the name nomad the best not the nighthawk or raven. Brood lord looks a lot like a mix of the garuidan and drone but i'm not complaning. |

im loving the HT Plasma surge. think of some carriers coming in with a HT right behind the hole they put in the base to recharge them. doesnt seem nooby but at the same time can put protoss in a vic. kinda bummed about no nydus team carrying. love the brood lord look. kinda getting tired of the raven. just seems redundant to keep naming it and at the same time there bound to go back to nomad.the thor needed that particle cannon. maybe powered down yamato with aoe?

Rain and snow would be schweet, but I agree with blizzard, they should pull a 'warcraft' and make the buildings look different but have it in no way alter stratagies or gameplay.
Mainly, I just want to see a snowman outside of the Barracks and a decorated evergreen perched on top of the Engineering Bay. Can't wait to use the Thor, no matter what they do to it.

After using Google translate, it does appear that way. I have asked for clarification on the Battle.net forum, just to be sure. Personally, I will feel rather dissapointed if that turns out to be the case, since I perfer the name Nullifier. ![]() |

I've always liked the look of the plain old Guardian, making it look bigger, badder and like a real bombartment fortress from flesh is what I hope the Brood Lord is going to become.
The other things are ok, but not that much shaking... Raven.. the "science vessel" replacement is more and more getting the status as an offensive unit, rather than a support caster. Or am I seeing this wrong? Thor.... Yeah finally it get's to use it's big cannons. about time they'd realise

I found it magnificent that the IA was improved. They basically annihilated vs.-Comps monotony...
1)The BL is just a 3d version of the Guardian; nothing special, but nothing to complain about either. 2)There is not doubt about if the Nydus channel should be used only by the owner and not by his/her friends; unless friends can use your shuttles or medivacs (and viceversa). ![]() I wouldn't go for weather/night/day effects, but they don't bother me either... so i'm indifferent towards them. But, I accept it would be extremely "eye-candy" ![]() 4) AND FINALLY SIMETRICAL MAPS!!! wheeew, that took them 10 years to realize how disadvantageous some maps can be for some races. Good info :) Thanks tom ...Edit: symmetrical*

I am not sure on this but was you able to use the Nydus Canal as a different raced-allied in SC1? If that's so, then I think they are keeping this mechanic to be "safe" for now with the balances.
The Particle Cannon sounds pretty interesting, does anyone know if it works like the bombardment ability when it was first released? If decimating ground units is its job, then the BattleCruisers' Plasma Cannon would kinda overlap that. The Brood Lord looks nice enough...but kinda meh for me, I'd like to be more brutal and gigantic (since it's a bombardment unit after all). The weather touches would be nice to Campaign, but no way I'd work in Ladder matches. Custom Games by the Map Editor using these gimmicks would be nice though. |

The only person able to use the Nydus Canal is the zerg player who built it. To everyone else the Nydus Canal is just some building. ![]() Haven't gotten the chance to do my 1v1 placements. Every time I log on my friends harass me to play. Was Diamond in Beta... but we'll see how that goes now. |

I hope the nullifier is not changed to disrupter.
Can the HT have an ability that doesnt make him a shield battery that has to share its energy with psistorm? |

the thor... the original idea of dying on the spot was really cool, but they're absolutely right about viability.
maybe they'll stick it in a push-pull minigame map. ![]() Moderator |

High templer talent to "repair" the shield of toss units in an area is to heavy i think. shield upgrade 2 3-4 high templer make an toss army so incredible tough that is easy can hold against the new thor ability. invinceble toss :-'(
(i red the whole german article, a friend of my has an abo) |

I hope they don't stay with the guardian rip off art for the brood lord. They need to have a more realistic flying animation than the guardian's "floating" thing.

Personally I am not disappointed if the name change actually happened. Nullifier was a name that was for me just too unimpressive. Disruptor sounds sexy. ^^
Goodbye sc2armory.
