Some interesting info coming from there. I liked the knew high temp ability kinda makes him an on the move and more useful shield battery (but seems to overlap transfussion), as for plasma surge yea seems much like the first one again but ill have to see, not a big fan of raven...seems kinda plain and awkward I liked nighthawk more, but at least defensive drone sounds cool, as for blood lord seems too guardian like but more skin i was more of a fan of the swarm guardian look it was pretty neat.

I'm going to be totally honest here. I think the Brood Lord is the only decent looking unit in the game. I hope they keep tweaking the models...

I believe that is the German name for the unit. The Zealot, for example, is called the "Berserker".

the brood lord kinda reminds me of the gaurdian of sc1. i actually like the thors new ability. dont know why u guys are not liking it though. Its a giant warmech thats supposed to trample over all enemies. Sure it overlaps the siege tanks role but hey wuld it really be a warmech if it didnt have particle cannon thingies made to pulverise ground troops? and yea i liked the name Nighthawk better than raven. Seems like templars are gunna be a big pain in the butt for me >

I think that's the point as it's basically a beefed up Guardian. I really like the look, though I was expecting something massive because of its stats. I like it tons better than the "zerg carrier" that was the Swarm Guardian.

I don't understand the Thor hate, I like the idea but want to see it in motion. It'll basically be like the Terran version of a Psi-storm, right? Hopefully it'll actually have something about it that's different (maybe it's more like a ground-based yamato canon with splash?) I definitely want to see that.

As for the "Raven"... if it weren't for the impending beta I'd be worried that Blizzard just doesn't know what to do with that unit so they keep delaying by trying other things. The new drone seems interesting but won't it be cheap? Basically you got an instant shield against base defenses sort of like the Mothership's timebomb. I wonder if they'll change the look yet again.

Also, the High Templar is going to be sweet. Now I'll actually use them a lot more. Shield batteries were dumb but a mobile shield battery? Hook up your HT to a Dark Pylon... now you're playing with power.

LOL: Raven... what a wimpy name. I sure hope they can come up with something better.

BR looks like a box with horns... could definitly be more aerodynamic.

HT ability looks good... but isnt it basically just a mobile shield battery?

Thor is really annoying me now... We need to see it in action soon.

Gotta say, I'm pretty sure that's the idea there...

i believe people are referring to me about the dislike (not hate) of the thor's new ability.

in my defense, i would like to say that the thor already received a damage boost recently. also, the thor was supposed to be anti-air right? just because something is big and has big guns doesn't mean it should have a great number of powerful abilities in its command. (very faulty logic)

the ms barely have any powerful offensive abilities, and she is an example of a powerful unit that does not have to be that powerful offensively. also, remember that the thor is in multiples. if anything, the ms has more right to receive a devastatingly powerful offensive ability (not that i say she does need one), not a unit that can be built many times, because it is more spammable.

and please don't counter me with the psi storm of ht's, the ht can barely defend itself, whereas the thor can already destroy enemies from both ground and air from a great range.

of course i can still change my mind, depending on the precise information yet to be released. however, for now, i believe that the thor has already pretty much found its role and no longer needs the ability (especially since terran already have the most number of aoe attacks/abilities, and the thor itself already has aoe against air)

I believe it says so in German "previously known as the Nullifier..." in its description, otherwise they wouldn't have bothered mentioning it

Raven sounds Diablo-ish (Blood Raven )

They should bring back Nomad I believe, that was the most Terranish name of all the names created.

Archons HT anyone? Use Plasma Surge to refresh Archons' shields, and when the remaining HT's run out of energy, transform them into Archons yay. They should put a cooldown for the units affected by Plasma Surge, making them being unable to be affected by it again for a certain time.

The brood lord is like a giant drone o.O, could be better

I think its looks more like the art for the Infestor Pit. A flying, attacking Infestor pit

I don't know what to say about the "Raven".. It had the most changes in the game: both names and skills were changed a thousand times so I dare to say it's still not final. As for the Thor I couldn't say how good or bad it is since I didn't see it in action yet. The HT-Archon combo sounds deadly for the moment( as if archons weren't OP already). And finally I think the BR looks a bit like the Guardian from SC1 but I also agree with Heaps_Mad

Q: In paris we noticed that the AI opponents play extremely strong at the highest difficulty setting. Are they cheating?
A: Yes, on the highest setting "insane", the AI profits from additional resources. On all other settings, the opponents do not cheat. On the 2nd highest level "hard" they act as smart as on the highest, simply without the added resources. This is a notable improvement compared to the first game. As in many other RTS titles, the AI in SC1 would see the entire map and would know exactly where the player's units and buildings were. In part 2, this does not hold anymore. The AI opponents have to send out scouts to find the players. Only when they find out, what the opponents are building, they adapt their tactics. If you hide units from the AI - on hills or behind bushes - you gain an advantage.

That I like. It has been boring to play with AI in both StarCraft and WarCraft. Good thing that they are improving it.

In addition, GameStar also released an article about StarCraft II which also contained some new information. Another member of TeamLiquid.net, Drizzit, translated the most relevant parts. The Nighthawk has been renamed yet again (now known as "Raven") and now has a new ability named Defensive Drone, which intercepts shots fired from base defences such as the Terran Missile Turret. In addition, the High Templar now has an ability called Plasma Surge, which recharges the shields of all friendly Protoss units in the selected area. Lastly, GameStar provided a picture which shows the current model of the Brood Lord unit:

I like 'Raven' the most of the names that have been given to the Nighthawk.
The Brood Lord isn't brilliant, but I don't have any complaints either.

Gotta say i don't like "Raven" as a name ... Does the thor still have anti air or not now? Since i haven't seen there new ability i cant judge it yet. HT shield recharge seems cool though, but i also wonder how it'll work ... if it restores full shields it'll be faaarr to good, was it aoe or single, how much does it restore? meh the Brood lord reminds me of a parachute and i cant say i like it.
