Finally Karune has given us an answer to the problem of Terrans not having any mobile detection. It might of been a vicious rumor but the rumor spread since WWI that Terrans lacked any mobile detection, but fret no more, Terrans are still mighty.

Nomads, also now known as the Vulkan, is still a detector. Actually, it is probably the most powerful mobile detector in the game, considering it can also rapidly deploy a medley of Terran defenses used to both support an attack or raid the enemy.

Also, Comsat costs 50 energy, with the max energy of the Command Center set at 200.

Seemed logical somehow.

Which Tier is it? Two, right?

PS. What is a comsat? Is it something Vulka(aka Spok) produces?

it comes from a Starport with Tech Lab, so to me thats about around Tier 3 more or less.

you dont know the comsat station scanning power? in SC1 it was an add on to the Command Center, in SC2 the CC upgrades into it.

Excellence. I'm liking this unit more and more.
Blizzard, I swear I will never play any of your games again if you do not give the Phoenix back Overload.

the vulcans seem fairly easy to destroy

by Sniping them, the Ghost Snipe ability does about 150 damage to Light Armored Bio units, and that is what the Infester is with only 120 health.

the Ghost is the Terrans anti-caster unit, if you cant snipe them because they arent a bio unit, you can EMP them to take away their energy and shields if they had any.

look!, i didnt make the game the way it is now, Blizzard decided that this was the best thing to do. even if you dont like it, Blizzard thought it up and liked it, not me.

and why are you bringing up the Corruptor? its not even a caster unit. it just has a passive ability.

As if the infestors really would be that much of a threat anyways, you have snipe, com-sat and now vulcans. I can't think that they would prove to be problems out of the ordinary.

I'd rather have vulcans which can worker harass all three races, than just one which is exceptionally good against one race but seldom sees game-play against the others.
