I made this thread for the use of posting your name and the other person/party member of this site that either has your name, in their name or just your name somewhere in their name. Man that's confusing!
I was thinking of even going as far as to add in avatar's seeing as how I am familiar with names and their avatar's and when someone changes it creates crime against all ppl on this site but that's taking it too far. (For Example how I remember them: Azrael= ****** face Mr.Trib= Mutalisk Corrupt Void= Hotness Flubbs= some cute mouse bluestorm= scary intimidating face Zerginfestor= Hydralisk dinobot= More Hotness wowzers! 2 of you have changed your avatar's you know who you are!  Argue/discuss/explain the authenticity of your name. (Not saying it should be changed.) What made you think of that name? Why did you choose that name? What's the meaning of the name?

I do find that I recognize people by their avatars more than their names. That's why I often use girls for my avatars. People tend to remember who I am more easily.
No one uses anything like my name though. So not much I can say about that. |

I don't see the problem with that. People don't only recognize people by their names, in fact, people recognize members by the quality of their posts, seriousness, and eloquence.
Avatars help too, but intelligence is better than any I.D. here. Technically, Batakcruiser has the same name as me.

Personally theres a few destroyers but none of them have my post count,resources, avatars heck none of them are active so I don't see how you can mistake some members for eachother unless both are new and using the same gallery avatar.

There's an AzraelBlack and an Azrael
 edit: and I'm sure some members remember Ilovetearsofthemoon or whatever the name was...There was also an Uberlisker if I remember correctly. |

So Azraelblack has a Link avatar while the other Azrael has a raynor avatar both also both have differentiated themselves just by looking at their posts.

Obviously that is true I am more of a face person however I ensure you I can remember people I have seen throughout my life just by looking they didn't even have to know me, just that good. However I just wanted people to post other people with same names/ their name in others names to see how much there are and the history of names. Hence the rival thingy and the mention not to change your name just because someone else has it as well. What made you think of that name? Why did you choose that name? What's the meaning of the name? I'll post mine after this post another time just trying to make contact with him. He's a lazy Golem!

I think I have had around 2 different avatars so far (Well, the first one had a few variations, but it wasn't drastic in change).
I picked dinobot (for name and in conjunction, avatar) because he was probably the most complex character for a child's television show (apart from the "ruthless *******" act). He lives by means of a code of honor. The current avatar is a character from one of my favorite novel, the Smiling Proud Wanderer. She, along with the Protagonist, puts chivalric values above the rules and regulations (not to mention, she's also has a ruthless killer mentality like dinobot).

Anyways this is fine and I like the thread. I Do especially hated how corrupt and topace used to have girls for their avatar, and how bluestorm and twilight marine have the same avatar as well. It's very annoying. Me, I try to make something unique and as for now this chuck norris approved symbol is what I've got.
