The Blizzard Support page has revealed the requirements for SC2. Take a look at the minimum specs, very impressive. However, it doesn't mean the game would even be playable, I mean, what game is if you had that low of specs?
 Update: It seems Blizzard took down the requirements as they were not accurate. Sorry folks. |

Wow I came back to the Armory just to comment this... this is very interesting. I can't believe my luck, the game even runs on my pile of ****.
EDIT: The link didn't seem to work for me, maybe this is better. EDIT 2: Nope, it doesn't. Just select StarCraft II in the product list and search for system requirements. |

Lol mine too. In fact I even have the recommended specs which is really surprising. I was figuring I would have to get a new computer pretty soon here.

You seem to have forgotten the requirements for mac users, as i know the game will run on OSX. Do they have those up as well?

So lets compare. If Medal of Honor Airborne is really laggy on my computer because all the graphics, then SC2 is going to be very laggy because of the graphics??

Wow, nice find man! Thank you. This can help me a lot, cuz I thought my PC
will not be able to run SC2, but this is very encouraging. Looks like Blizzard is really trying to make this game playable on every average PC. Btw, what's GeForce 2 doing out there, that card is REALLY OLD?  |

Are you playing Medal of Honor on the absolute lowest settings? If so SC2 should run about the same, maybe slightly better. Both games have about the same minimum system requirements, Medal of Honors seem a little higher is all. |

Hmm I havent checked. If thats the case you say then Ill be fine with SC2.

Yay!!!... That's the biggest news i've heard in months.
Even my piece of crap can support that!!... **runs in circles, then throws himself out a 4th floor window, and stays in vegetative state for the rest of his life (without ever playing the game!)**

According to this one - I only need a better Graphic card.. By a fraction.. I have ATI Radeon X1300.. and it says X1600..
And more Ram.. I have 512..

This just made my day. SC2 might be a tiny bit laggy for me...but i'm not sure. At least i don't have to buy an entire new computer! xD
I'm so happy we're getting somewhere!!  :D This means Beta is only within a few weeks to come!

Hate to be a downer. But when were you able to play any game at the lowest specs, and not have the game completely choppy, laggy or unplayable?
Especially if you have a bunch of programs installed and processes running.

I'm running MW2 off low specs out of an external USB port hard drive...and it works absolutely perfect. |
