Hilarious considering that the Topic outlasted the OP.

LOL.

I'm planning on getting ME2 in the near-future, but for which port, is still undecided. I have the first one on my xbox360 (and beaten it), but I usually like playing shooter type games on my pc, especially now that I have a new one with a GTX 260 vid card and 1TB of memory in it, as well as windows 7 and an i7 CPU. Which do you think I should go for?

I would go with the PC port. Nice hardware btw.

Me, pretty much all I play is Quake Live & Starcraft.

If you've never played QL, then do it, do it now. Epic game. I would have to say its my favorite arena shooter of all time. Oh and its free btw.

Starcraft - Best RTS game in the fricking world and anyone who disagrees should get their head shoved up a rhino's ass.

Kinda harsh man.... wow..... ****.

Was playing SSBM SSBB months ago and going to tourney's and things but that all just calmed down completely. Played a bit of the new Street fighter VS. something for the Wii apparently it's easy as Fck with the wii remote who knew I was using GC controller the whole time.

Trying to improve on my skill in starcraft still a D- however.

Ps. (Hmmm.)

An arcade stick works wonders too, preferably one made with Sanwa or Seimitsu parts.

@Random nice selection.

@Dorkmaster yeah you can pick Chrono Trigger up for DS and I highly advise it. I just started playing the game again myself(I have the PS1 version).

@Destroyer I was thinking the same thing.

@Todandict Yeah FF6 is my favorite even if the combat felt a like easy at time. Also the characters where one of the high points of the game and the story was pretty good lots of side events as well.

Mass Effect 2, just got it a day ago, and I must say, it is a prime example of Bioware's attention to fan's as well as the simple quality of their games. They literally did away with all the main issues of the first, and focused on the heart of the game, combat and choices.

The conversation tree is fundamentally the same, but more cinematic and smooth, the only qualm being is sometimes feels like your being hustled to a conclusion, which is a necessary flaw to maintain the story. The ability to intervene with either a good or bad action mid-way also hugely improves it, it's really kinda shocking when you realize that you just shoved an innocent mercenary out of a skyscraper for not telling you what you wanted to hear.

The combat it also an large improvement, it feels like Gears of War combat, just less visceral, no curbstomping or chainsawing, but the abilities you get from building your character in the RPG aspects more than make up for that I'd rather slow time and set up a sniper headshot with incendiary rounds than curbstomp a locust. The AI is also a vat improvement, even though you can control all your squads abilities and give them basic movement orders, they take care of themselves, and you, for that matter, if your ducking behind cover with an squad mate, they get out of your way and give you the best spot, vast improvement to being stuck without a place to shoot from in the first ME.

Everything else has been vastly streamlined, there's literally not even an inventory, and a greatly redone and improved leveling system, not to mention how much more fluid they made the squad management, in ME1 I always had 2 allies I always went out with to cover my weakness, I ignored all the others because they would overlap with their own, as well as my skills, not to mention trading gear to keep them all equipped was a complete pain. ME2 squadmates don't seem to have as clear class roles, I don't have a squad mate for each playable class to cover me, I just have about individuals with various talents, this makes them all much more fluid and versatile, my squad make-up changes each time I go on a mission. This fluidity is further helped by the replacement of individual inventories with weapon loadouts, which functions as gun-banks, meaning each individual in your group can take whatever they want from it without having to go through the process of transferring the items from one character to another.

I apologize if that turned into a review, I'm killing time while I wait for my brother to get off so I can get back to it.

Lol it's been so long since I posted that. I did take it a bit far XD

But yes... Starcraft is a great game and I love playing it, although every day I find myself playing it I die a little inside knowing that every time I win a match and feel so mighty I am still getting beat by some D+'s

Aka: Huezo, Deathcon and Nbt (I still doubt you are D+ Nbt, you're C- )

So really late in the game, when it's just my Chargelots, Stalkers, and High Templars left, I ran across something even scarier than Death-Con's social life. Battlecruisers.

Warcraft 3, StarCraft, Halo, and Company of Heroes. Best games ever to be created on this Earth? Yes. Is there a favorite of mine out of the 4? Yes. Is it StarCraft? No. Its Company of Heroes. WW2 Epic RTS Game ftw.

Anyone here play Empire total war? It's currently on sale in steam for 66% off...meaning that it only costs a little over 13$. Worth getting? I'm kinda tempted to just get any kind of rts to hold me over till sc2. I need a distraction!

No problem, that was actually some pretty useful game info there. Oh, and thanks for keeping it spoiler free!
