I don't understand, is the Brutalisk walking towards the marines or is it standing on its hind legs and roaring into the sky?
Either way, I want to see the front!
Though I walk through the valley of the Dark Templar,
I shall fear no...(head gets sliced off) |

i agree with you pyrolisk, i would like to see the front im quite curious as to what the brutalisk's face looks like.
i think it might be part of the attack animation, it could go up like that then come down and hit it with its arms. |

That thing is HUGE!!! I don't care if the lower body looks awkward, I think it's exactly what makes it more of a monstrosity!
EDIT: it totally won't fall due to its weight. Look at its shadow, the upper body buckles backward, thus putting its weight on its base, hence making it still stable.

Actually the Brutalisk looks just like an oversized Hydralisk to me.
Sure, it has thesame huge blades as the Ultralisk, and the feet (or whatever) resemble that of the Lurker/Queen But it's build and appears as if it walkes/slides similar to the Hydralisk. I do like that concept! and with those HUGE blades, those Marines would logically be meat for the grinder that is Brutalisk. |

I think it looks fantastic. It's a pretty nice example of the versatility you have in modding in units. Very similar to the massive Protoss Zealot guardians in the one single player mission they had for us at Blizzcon. Great stuff !

They said the attack animation is that it just swings its claws and does aoe dmg in front of it.

my guess is that that top half is some sort of "cobra hood"... otherwise, yes, the top half would be UNFESIBALLY GIANT. That said, it looks epic. those marines are D-E-A-D.
People are more violently opposed to fur than leather because it's easier to harass old rich ladies than it is to harass motorcycle gangs.

@ Dark Prelate: Can't really tell what that zerg-guts looking thing is; it looks like they are infesting some kind of cavern, or it could be growing on some terran machinary.
Challenge me whenever I'm online. Gold player.
Note: If I don't respond to you immediately, I'm probably alt-tabbed out, doing single player, or talking to somebody. I'll get to you soon as I'm able. |

I think it is quite interesting how blizz seems to be focusing the custom units as zerg units (excluding the tall zees that have collosus attack in the campaigne).
I will be very intrested in what the community does with the custom unit applications once the game is released. |

This brutalisk will be a centerfold for many custom maps, I'm quite certain of it.
I'm thinking of its stats as: HP: ~600-800-ish Armor: ~2-3-ish Attack: ~30-40 line damage (horizontal, directly in front of the brutalisk)

It looks incredibly awesome. Those marines are dead, it looks look like it could go head on against a couple of thors.

The brutalisk model is awesome, I hope to see more campaign units like that.
