Public announcement: Because of co-working issues by PM which isn't working, I have decided to revert for the time being to post by post, but rest assured, each post will be long.

Oh and sorry about stealing your template, but it's only for these three books, I had came up with some awesome phrases =D I hope you don't get angry, if you do object to it, please tell me and I will remove it immediately.

The Xylet Trilogy: A New Hope

Chapter 1: Chaos

Zasz watched out of the Tranquility as they entered hyperspace and sped away from the burning station.

"Master..." Was all he could utter as the blue tunnel of hyperspace enveloped the ship and blocked the space station from view.

"Nothing we can do now Zasz." Serverus growled as he licked his wounds, trying to clean a large gash across his right wing.

"Sir, we have low rations and all our communicators are down. The whole fleet is crippled." The Clone lieutenant saluted as he reported the result.

"If that is true, it means we don't have the means to contact any of the others." Zasz replied completely confused. He had barely been able to comprehend let alone escape the sudden invasion.

"Zasz remember not to express your emotions. You will affect the whole crew's morale." Serverus reminded.

"Don't you say anything that make people feel better?"

"Yes. But not to you."

"Sorry to break up that conversation, but we need supplies soon, and the hyperdrive was damaged in the quick jump so we can't go too far. Nearest habited planet is Bhekar Ro we can get some food and maybe a mechanic there."

"To Bhekar Ro it is then." Zasz declared sadly as he walked up to the bridge with Serverus by his side. The hallways were gloomy, electric sparks flew in many directions from damaged circuitry. The clones seemed to have the moral drained out of them. Many just sat at what was once the dorms before the attack, others knelt or stood and stared absently into space as if preoccupied by something.

"How are we going to take back that huge space station if all the troops are like this?" Zasz commented as he continued the feel the despair in the minds of his men.

"I don't know. You're the new commander." The Lieutenant replied as he turned around to face Zasz, "you are the only one that can bring us back from the shadows."

A sudden pang of disarray struck home as Zasz heard those words.

"I have to lead? An entire army!?" he suddenly blurted out. His skin mottled in complete panic. "I can't lead! I haven't ever been able to lead! I always had my master organizing everything!" then Zasz continued to spew gibberish at the Lieutenant and Serverus.

"SHUT UP!" Serverus finally roared, shaking the very foundations of the Tranquility. Zasz abruptly stopped and looked at the zergling, then the lieutenant, then along the hallway to the many staring clones and droids. As much as he didn't want it to be true, but it was just to clear. There was no one to substitute for Zasz. He truly was the only hope left...
*******************************************
"How the hell did we get into this mess?" Dark yelled unrelentlessly as he was tied to a pole next to KnightSpector and Fredrick.

"Shut Up. I'm trying to figure out how we are going to get to our weapons." Fredrick spat clearly annoyed as he continued to stare at the pile of weapons that was stripped from them and put so close just as torment.

'Fredrick! Have you learned nothing from my teachings? Use your mind, not your emotions, to control the situation. What value is an assassin, a phantom, a Centurion without the power of the mind?' Knight scolded.

"I remember your teachings master. I am angry that I have not foreseen this." Fredrick said with anger.

'Fredrick, you did not get the meaning of what I have said. The power of the mind is key.' KnightSpector said with patience.

"Oh, right." Fredrick said.

The tethers began to shake as Fredrick went into a trance. His eyes rolled into the back of his head and blood began to drip from his nose. The mutant guards began to approach the trio. In an instant the guards were vaporized and the tethers melted away.

Now free, alarms began to blare. And the yelps and screeches of the mutants could be heard approaching from the various passageways into the dark.

'We're going to have company!' Prelate yelled.

Knightspector went and lifted Fredrick from the ground, since he passed out from the exertion. 'Lead the way, Prelate,' KnightSpector said as we rearmed ourselves, leaving nothing in the pile.
*******************************************
"Bhekar Ro incoming in T-minus 25...24...23...22" the cool computer voice counted down as Zasz stared blankly at the Holocron screen.

"Commander? Are you OK? You seem distant." A concerned clone asked as he was passing by doing a maintenance check.

"Yes, just a little pre-occupied." Zasz lied. In truth his mind burned with anxiety as he stood at the uppermost level of the bridge next to Darkre's chair. Somewhere he was awfully alienated from.

"Alright sir." He replied and continued to check the wiring in the com panels.

"We are incoming at Bhekar Ro. Cutting power to engines 5 and 6, putting engines 1, 2, 3, and 4, in reverse, exiting Hyperspace... NOW!" There was a sudden lurch as the ship pulled out of Hyperspace and directly into and incoming asteroid. A sickening splat and the asteroid ricocheted itself out into the vastness of space.

"Anyone else hear that?" the Lieutenant asked looking around at his brothers, then the droids.

"I did." Zasz replied, the small concern wiping away some anxiety. "Scan that unnaturally green asteroid for poisons."

"Nothing on it that registers as dangerous, some spores, but doesn't register as harmful..."

"Fine, land in the most advanced colony." Zasz commanded.

"Uhhh... There's only one colony on Bhekar Ro sir." One of the pilots answered completing a global scan.

"Bring us down, I can see a cruiser wreckage we can utilize." Zasz told the pilot while he walked toward the unloading dock.

"Roger, Roger." Grumbled a droid as he worked the controls and brought the ship into a rapid descent.

"Zasz, I sense something wrong, a strong disturbance in psionic energy." Serverus growled menacingly as he stood rigid, staring at the floor.

"I don't feel anything." Zasz replied as they bumped through the atmosphere.

"It's the Verdgle." Serverus finally replied he bound down the hall.

"Verdlge?" Zasz stated in utter confusion...
*********************************************************************
Dark dashed down the darkened halls of the space station, using his psi-blade to light the way.

"Where are we going?" Fredrick screamed as he took down two Spire Drones with his revolvers, smearing the dark green blood over to rusty walls as he stumbled groggily.

"The main control station, I can override the nuclear reactors in the lab and blow the place to smithereens before Xiam unlocks the super weapon bypass code." Dark answered pulling out a huge psionic Zard and slashing through 3 Revipers.

"This thing is a super weapon!?" KnightSpector yelled heretically as he dashed along the ceiling taking down mutants from above.

"Yea, it was made from a Xel'Naga warship so when the defense beacon is activated, this thing turns into a DNA absorption ray. It can rip worlds of life by disintegrating and absorbing all organic things. I uncovered it when I was on Bhekar Ro about 780 years back when Xiam was my apprentice. He cracked the code and let us see the giant egg hidden from the universe by the Xel'Naga." He replied slicing a large hole in the wall to access a wiring control panel. The lights flickered on the reveal that the hallways were smeared with black fluid and blood. The bloody decapitated bodies of Clones were scattered around the chamber.

"Looks like they sent hunters to take out survivors..." Fredrick responded to the gory scene and he threw his revolvers back into his holsters and walked up to one of the clones who armor was stained with dry blood. "This looks like old work. The hunters must have gone up to the upper levels already. Prelate, what kind of thing could do this kind of damage with out their own casualties?"

"You will address him with respect Fredrick." KnightSpector said sternly as he stared at the young boy.

"Sorry master. OK Prof. Darkre what kind of thing could do this damage?"

"Glutnous Morpheos." Prelate declared as he took a sample of the black goop that covered the walls and troops. "An assassin creature I made that is 99.99% water so it can sneak up on anything and it can morph into any solid when in contact with nitrogen. You can tell because the left over residue degenerates quickly when touched by biological matter and needs a constant flow of the material to maintain stable form. The goop over the armor and walls was probably left from when blaster fire hit them and they blew up from overheat."

Fredrick wiped away the thick material and saw the horrified face of the clone. His veins had a bright blue hue and shown out boldly outlined on his face creating a zombie-like look.

"Shadow Snap Spores." Dark stated bluntly as he walked along ignoring the rest of the gory scene. "We have to continue, Xiam always double checks. A compulsive habit of his that will endanger us."

"This Xiam, you seem to know a lot about this specific apprentice. What's the history?" KnightSpector asked staring curiously as Prelate.

"I found him during one of my excavations of the ancient ruins of Coher're in the Oeya system. I was exploring a temple deep within the bowels of the city when I found Xiam who was a newborn, a large Khaydarin Crystal and a datapad. The datapad had specified Xiam's name and what happened to his parents. Nothing more."

"So what did it say?" Fredrick asked curiously as he came by after recon.

"It said that Xiam was transported randomly using a newly powered Warp function some scientist were working on from a laboratory that was attacked and overrun by the Zerg. They put all the information into Xiam's brain and threw him, a crystal as a homing beacon and a data pad into the transporter. I raised him like my own child, teaching him everything I knew, bringing me on all my digs, I even built him his own room in the station. He was ambitious though. I knew that from his actions as a child. I knew there was going to be one day where he saw me as a block for him to achieve his complete potential. That brought me to create the Khaydarin storage units of epic proportions. It contains its own universe..." Dark began to have a pained look upon his face as he continued to elaborate on the story, "Then the day came. It was when I had took him to build a laser defense grid around the Savior's blade, he requested to be the one to wield it. But he was not the chosen one. I forbade him from returning to that moon, then he began to throw tantrums. Then one day, he began to rebel my authority. He had in secret built an army of creatures from his own experiments. I had activated the unit and had sucked him and the entire army into, but unbeknownst by me, he had slipped a corrupted crystal into the main drive before he was sucked in and managed to take control of the creatures I was working on, and you saw the video feed."

"Quite a history you have with Xiam. Will you be OK to kill him?" Fredrick asked plaintively.

"In truth, I'm not sure. But we must keep moving if we are to survive."

Very good writing. Though I do not have anything that I can add. I must say that the written descriptions are very easy to visualize and very clear in what you are trying to present. I'm sorry that I couldn't pm you but I have been busy around my house and haven't had but a few minutes here and there to be on the Armory.

There is still one problem, you haven't fixed the random "I" in the section where KnightSpector is speaking. Just a heads up.

Vines propelled themselves in all directions, thrashing and striking at the desperate troops trying to stave them off.

"Why are these things attacking us!? They're plants for Khas sake!" Zasz roared at Serverus as he gripped the vines and dismembered them.

"The Verdgle are a species that have developed a sense to kill! They desire to feast on the blood of their prey!" Serverus gasped back.

In a swift strike, a large wide flat head snapped at Serverus and ripped him from his position on the hallway.

"I don't think we can take much more of this sir!" one of the clones stated as he blasted back two more vine hands.

"Aaaaugh!"

"Alpha 90!" the Lieutenant screamed as one of the troopers was grabbed by the waist and dragged into the darkened hallway where the vines emanated from.

Suddenly blue blaster fire began to fly out of the shadowed part of the hallway. Hard thumping footsteps began to vibrate down the hall and suddenly Alpha 90 re-emerged covered in vines. His visor glowed a bright crimson as he continued to fire at his allies. Behind him, at least 50 plant versions of the Clone Trooper appeared, all of them sporting green armor and a blaster constructed out of vines.

"This is definitely not good." Zasz proclaimed staring at the advancing army.

"Thermal Det!" the Lieutenant yelled over the blaster fire as he threw a small silver ball into the midst of the Verdgle. A bone shatering detonation occured where the intese fire ravaged both the walls and the Verdgle, the shockwave threw all the other back toward the bridge.

"Continue firing!" Zasz commanded as the Verdgle blew through the blast doors and into the cavernous bridge.

"This is alot harder when they're regenerating." one of the battle droids said, blasting the green clones away.

"Activate the Internal Auto Defence Turrets!" Serverus roared as he bounded back to the bridge, tearing a small zergling shaped tuneel through the mass of plant troops.

"Roger, Roger."

Blaster Turrets suddenly began to drop from cavaties in the ceiling in all directions. Then simutaneosly, they aimed and began unleashing hundreds of plasma rounds into the unsuspecting Verdgle.

The intense Plasma rounds tore limbs of the creatures, unleashing floods of a blue sap onto the floor. Each of the creatures fell along with the Plant Clones. More of the sap seepd over the stairs and flowed down to the observation dock in the bridge, covering the floor in the stick material and anchoring the clones and droids to the ground.

As the last of the Verdgle fell one more stepped through the goop. His roots supported him as he remained in his natural form. His Venus flytrap head was topped with two black beady eyes and two leaves sproated from his stem creating his arms and hands. Another huge red leaf extended from his "neck" and down to the floor creating a cape. Two Crystal Daggers protruted from his "wrists".

"I am Cyerat. Executor of the Verdgle. Children of the Xel'Naga"

"You sound like a Protoss..." Zasz replied.

"We Verdgle have been created by a Khaydarin Crystal deposited on our planet by the Xel'Naga. We absorbed the information through our roots and became sentient. And blood thirsty. We soon devoured the Terrans on our home planet. And absorbed the mineral deposits. We grew bones and exo-Skeletons allowing for Soace-Travel. But now we must feed again. And you are the nearest source of flesh and blood." Cyerat said as he drooled from the mouth, licking up digestive fluid as he continued to talk. "Now Die!" he screamed as he lunged forward mouth agape.

BANG! a rattling gunshot echoed through the ship. The Verdgle commander had a large hole cut through his main cerebral cortex, it oozed a purple sap like substance. Then suddenly, he fell to the floor. Zasz turned around to see the Lieutenant holding a blaster pistol set to disintegrate. Smoke billowed from the barrel as the Lieutenant slumped to the floor unconscious from the strain on his injured body it took to fire the pistol and handle the heavy recoil of heat and kinetic energy.

"Do you really honestly think that will kill me!? King of the Verdgle?" gasped Cyerat as he pulled himself off the floor and stood tall once more. The hole in his head was quickly healing and he soon was unscathed and un-fatigued.

"This is what separates Animals from Plants. The fact that WE are superior." He held up his and and pointed it at a nearby trooper. As if hit by an invisable bullet, he crumpled to the floor. Water began to flow from the cracks in his armor and soon, a ball of the clear liquid was floating in mid-air held up by Cyerats psionics.

"DIE!" Zasz roared as he ignited his left wrist blade and pulled out a Psi-Sword and wield it in his right. Zasz lunged forward, but Cyerat whipped his hand toward his head and the ball of water miracously turned into a blade of solid Ice, blocking Zasz's assault. He then gripped the handle on the ice sword, twisted the blade and snet Zasz's Psi-Evergy blade refracting over the bridge. The shock repelled Zasz back into the viewing windows. Quickly, Cyerat began to wave his arms in a dance, draining water and crippling all the clones on the bridge. And by the time Zasz recovered, Cyerat had a full battle suit of ice on, a much longer and larger blade and a grand tower sheild.

"This is going to be one hell of a fight..." Zasz grimanced.

A Clone Assassin jumped out and crossed blades with the plant's large sword. The Clone used a fission cutter as one of his blades. The icy armor and sword began to melt slowly as the Clone held the creature at bay.

Cyerat threw the Clone away but the agile Clone planted his feet on the wall and rebounded back to the scramble. The Clone grabbed another fission cutter from his belt and shoved it deep into the Verdgle's armor.

Cyerat again attempted to throw the Clone, but the Assassin was too agile. The creature's melting armor was becoming a hassle as the weight began to shift. The heat caused the Verdgle to stumble, the water in the air was too little to regenerate the armor.

Zasz was thankful for the Clone risking his life for him. Now Zasz has enough time to direct the rest of the crew to clean out the rest of the ship of the Verdgle.

The Clone was jumping and dodging the creature's blows and swipes, meanwhile doing massive damage to the armor and melting the sword to almost nothing. But as the armor melted, Cyerat's body was freed. With a vine that had a poisoned barb, the Verdgle struck the Clone, cutting him in half.

With every last ounce of energy, the Clone cut the vine off of the Verdgle. "Commander, I have died the way I should, in combat. Good luck." The Clone said with his last breath and slumped forward into a poisoned sleep.

'You are alone, Protoss. You will fall to the might of the Verdgle.' Cyerat roared in thoughtspeech as it rushed towards Zasz.

Zasz lunged forward swinging his Psi-Sword at Cyerat who side stepped it and bit into Zasz's shoulder plate. Spewing digestive acid over his armor corroding it near instantaneously. Zasz swung his blade back and forced Cyerat back into a targeting computer.

Cyerat spew two seeds at Zasz while he got up. The two almond shaped seeds suddenly burst into a tangle of vines that hit Zasz square in the chest and threw him back into the wall, tying him up.

"Foolish creature. You cannot beat m- AAAAAAAUUUUUUUHHHHHHHG!!!" Cyerat screamed as Serverus peed on his leg. The acid corroded through his roots and destroyed the blue sap that would usually seep out of a wound.

"Why do I keep forgetting he's not a tree?"

"Well I do believe that is a good thing." Zasz said as he sliced the vines and dropped from the wall.

"I WILL RETURN!!!" Cyerat screamed as he dissolved into a yellow pool.

"A rather putrid way to go. Serverus, clean this up."

"Why me? Look, all the dehydrated clones are coming back into consciousness."

"Because your the one who peed."
