Yesterday, Blizzplanet reported news of some relevance. According to them, some agencies have notified them that Blizzard has opened auditions for voice acting of Jim Raynor and Sarah Kerrigan. If this is true, it remains to be seen if Robert Clotworthy and Glyniss Talken will be reprising their roles or if entirely new voice actors will be used. It should be noted that previously, Clotworthy was rejected while Talken has worked on Starcraft II until now.

HAHAHAAAH NEAT! I WONNA BE JIMMY!!!!! That would be SO cool. Being able to be the marine that says, "It says press any key, well, which ones the any key?" would be so cool. Even though its for Jimmy and Kerrigan, that would be so cool. Maybe itll be the same people again. I hope, itll make them more like what we think of them as. Especially Kerrigan, her and that mutated voice of hers...(Growls)

I want kerrigan back she acted like a B!^@# perfectly... They could use sound warping to make her voice more mutated but I still want those origional undertones of b!^@#yness... Raynor I think they should get the same guy because as the character has aged so has the actor so it would be a great match. BRING EM BOTH BACK!

I have to agree, opening auditions will just end up with a lot of people unhappy about the winning voices. Bring back the old voices. Blizzard may think it'd be cool to have the gamers help make the game, but we should keep the two jobs seperate to some extent.

But why are u guys complaning? It's a chance to get old Raynor back, and if Kerrigan's former voice actress is to be used again (as planned) then chances are she will stay. I think it's a shot at keeping the superb voices (Kerrigan included) rather than using different, new, weird ones...

YESS!! This is the best news ever! I hope we get the old Jimmy back. With luck they will make Raynor look like his unit portrait did too. This is so awesome!! Go Robert Clotworthy!!!!
