Firstly thanks for all the updates Miles, I hope blizzcon was fun.
The tank is not as strong as it used to be now with the vespene increase (possibly a big deal), supply of 3, and siege damage decrease. Of course these changes were not probably unwarranted, if I remember correctly it is still splash damage. In sc1 tanks seemed like a crutch, and I hope SC2 will not repeat that style as much ( I can't complain). I do wonder if the primary purpose of the tank take a more defensive role, especially against things like ultralisks. I am not too worried about Immortals and siege tank damage, because it would be 10 damage no matter what. Edit: From what I read all buildings count as armored and the 50 should work fine offensively. (oh and Thor only does 16 damage against air, "4(x4)"? ) |

Ok, I didnt attend blizzcon cuz i live near the moon. but i am still interested in unit changes and new abilities. from what ive gathered here are the changes:
1. Nighthawks have been given a seismic thumper ability that stops zergs from burrowing and i think it slows down units in the area. 2. the infestor no longer has dark swarm and disease. instead they have fungal infestation which kills a unit (more hp, longer it takes to die, but die nevertheless) and some 10sec mind control ability. infestation remains. did the model for this unit change into a hulking monstrosity or is it still the same? 3. nullifiers have a chain lightning ability that leaps up to 10 units or so. 4. still no medics in the multiplayer...damn it. well they'll make an appearance in the campaign. 5. battlecruisers have defensive matrix. i hope this one isnt true. give this ability to some other unit. did i miss anything? if so pls let me know. also i had an idea for the thor. that battlecruiser ability - plasma battery - the one that kills marines dead. they should give that to the thor. it would make the thor both anti infantry and air. 6. oh i did miss something. mothership has somekind of vortex ability similar to the stasis field of the arbiter. |

1 - No such ability.
2 - Fungal Infestation is true. Infestor also has a 10 second mind control and can summon 5 infested terran. It still has the same model. 3 - No such ability. 4 - We have the medivac, there are no medics. 5 - Battlecruisers have a self dmatrix ability. 6 - Vortex works like Blackhole but deals no damages, just disables. Where are you getting your info? Its way off.

no seismic thumper... there's a few websites that say there is... where did they get the idea? oh and that mind control ability, think its called null parasite. were there anymore ability updates?

no more bonus damage for the thor?
and what happend whit the ghost now is a soldier more the tank is more expensive and no more powerfull and 3 supply thats s@cks and the carrier now have 12 of range that is too much it must be only 8 |

can you explain more on the summon Infested Terrans more?
also when you played with the BCs, did they still have the Yamato gun and Missile Barrage? ![]() Ask me if you want to be one of the best Kleptomaniacs in the world ^_^ |

Sweet, now that the Hellion doesn't cost any Vespene anymore, it is finally a successor to the Vulture: an anti-infantry and mineral-ony factory unit. Hellions should never have to compete with Siege Tanks for vespene gas. Immortal seems awesome at the moment, while the Colossus looks underwhelming. The Zerg are a lot more refined now. Big step in the right direction. |

@lurkers_lurk - The infestor spews 5 egg sacks out of his back which start growing. They then hatch into infested Terrans.
The BCs has 3 different abilities you can choose from. When you pick an ability the BC becomes specialized and the model changes, you cannot revert it. You have yamato, missile pods and d matrix. @lom109 - Modifiers are things like: Mechanical, Structure, Biological, etc.
