These maps will be removed:

Backwater Gulch
Searing Crater
Typhon Peaks

These maps will form the new 1v1 map pool:

Abyssal Caverns (non-tournament)
Antiga Shipyard
Metalopolis (close spawns disabled)
Nerazim Crypt (non-tournament)
Shakuras Plateau
Shattered Temple (close spawns disabled)
Tal’darim Altar LE
Xel’naga Caverns

speaking from a protoss prespective, I kinda like that map.
At least, i don't have to worry about roach burst or 3 rax-all in........

Still gonna veto Xel’naga Caverns
DRG - Everytime people crazing about when protoss did good FF .good storm . good blink . make mothership ...Why theres nothing like those in zerg

So has Xel'Naga caverns, I like metal a lot though, I'm glad they're bringing it back even if it does favor zerg.

Very glad about all the map changes, only thing I don't like is that close positions is gone, but oh well that was as much a help as it was a hindrance.

I like these maps, it's nice to see some new ones and ever better to have metal back.

I find it amusing that Xel'Naga Caverns will now be the worst map in the pool. I remember when it was the best map...

The close spawning positions are disabled...hmm i like and don't...
it kinda forces a different strategy rather than FE or so but its fine for me
The maps seem better....Searing Crater was just a absolute terrible map...hard to expand has zerg and toss and maybe terran but i doubt it

And by a "different strategy" you mean "losing as zerg" assuming your opponent isn't retarded.

I didn't know close positions were disabled til' this thread either.

I hated searing crater, I'm so glad it's being removed.

Metal is an awesome map, even though the visual concept is totally ridiculous... (trees and grass on top of a building? what?)

Too bad, I have to veto this awesome piece of work, as my computer cannot handle this map for some reason.
