Zerg Queen, annoying macro mechanics?

What are your thoughts? It seems like the Zerg Queen is somewhat annoying compared to the other races abilities such as Chrono Boost. It seems to me you have to constantly use the queen every 40 seconds or so to inject larva. Just doesnt seem like an interesting, or fun gameplay mechanic.

Protoss have to use Chrono Boost ever 20 seconds or w/e its duration is to keep fast production going. It's not an annoying Mechanic. Every 40 seconds, you make 3 clicks. Not that much different from constantly making workers throughout the game.

Well, Spawn Larva does have a limit of 19 Larvae max per Hatchery/Lair/Hive, so you'd only want to use it when you are constantly producing (as you should be
). The extra Larvae that spawns from a maxed out Hatchery/Lair/Hive will replace 4 existing Larvae, with those unfortunate maggots dying off the moment new ones spawn.I view the Queen as a mobile add-on that normally sticks to your base, but it doesn't limit her use nor is it annoying IMO. If anything's annoying, I will only find it annoying that I used up my Larvae without replenishing them beforehand ![]() -Psi

ya but dont let your queens be limited to spawn larva, They make a great early AA unit, Great creep spreader and almost a medic on the battlefield/Scv repair guy...
