Nukes & Cliffs

I'm not gonna play around, my question is pretty simple; does a nuclear blast "travel" up or down cliffs(Nuke launched on low ground, units on high ground damaged)? If not that could give cliff jumpers an advantage, especially if you have a big group and you know you are being targeted.

I think yes because all the nuke is, is a huge splash damage (gamplay wise it wouldn't make much sense if you set the nuke right below a cliff and it not hit anything on top of the cliff) and also think of the sc,bw nuke, it would hit anything if it was in the blast radius

Nukes detonate in the sky, they don't slam into the ground and detonate. So it stands to reason that nukes go up cliffs.

clubby is right, but that has no bearing on the game.

This, it is popular belief that nukes land, but it is untrue. Even the animation looks like if it is landing. The nuke blasts about 200ft up the sky, sending a blast of energy in the form of heat everywhere. If it landed, the buildings would shield the heat so that only few blocks would get damaged. |
