Yeah, I remember reading about this one movement that tried to get this "substance" banned, and then somehow revealed it.

This substance is especially dangerous to small children... they simply dont have the survival mechanisms to cope with it properly...

I say screw the ban. It may kill but in the end we need it to survive.
We need a certain amount of sodium but we don't ban it because someone gets too much of it and causes their insides to burn. I read a science story that said someone did that one time. Ate too much table salt until his sodium levels were so high that it caught fire in his stomach. The story said that the man had a lot of stomach and intestinal problems after that.

Oh, yeah I've heard of this stuff. Not many people seem to have heard of it but from what I can hear it's basically everywhere. Children can get their hands on it pretty easily and no one seems to care. Sometimes it's even used in some forms of torture. Thanks for bringing this up.

Thats like saying we need deep-fat fried food to survive. Too much of a good thing is a bad thing. Consuming too much salt can kill you: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seawater The average american already gets too much salt in their daily diet (idk about other nationalities). |

That is true. Anything in a high concentration or extremely low concentration is bad for the body.
Too much radon leads to radioactivity poisoning. Too little carbon leads to carbon deficiency. And the list could go on.

This thread isn't even funny...
I have a friend who was addicted to dihydrogen monoxide. He would use it all the time, and when i asked him to stop he tried to get me to do it, saying it was healthy. well, my friend died of dihydrogen monoxide poisoning. He had some that was laced with alchohol one day, and it messed him up so bad that he had to go to the hospital. I support this ban of dihydrogen monoxide. anything that fatal does not have a natural place on this planet.
and it doesn't "catch fire" it just pulls all the water out of your cells and causes your bodily functions to not work properly, which ultimately would lead to intestinal problems, but not for a long time. Cite it and i will believe u. ![]() all your souls are belong to us! |
